 Meet Hannah, the owner of Pilates Tannum Sands. 


 

Your very own Personal Trainer, Pilates instructor, and Women's Strength Coach.

Hannah has spent the past seven years helping clients build strength and confidence in their bodies through all stages of life.

 Her career in the fitness industry began with strength training, where she gained expertise in women's health, working with women through prenatal, postnatal, menopause, and more. She then discovered her passion for Pilates, starting with matwork and later advancing to reformer. 


In January 2024, she opened Pilates Tannum Sands, creating a welcoming space for the community to move, grow, and feel their best. Hannah is driven to help everyone feel strong, supported, and empowered in their movement—no matter where they are in their journey.


Qualifications:

Certificate 3 in Fitness

Certificate 4 in Fitness

Female Health + Performance Coach

Level 3 Certified Pilates Matwork & Reformer Instructor.

 Meet Bridie

 

I’m a local from the area (Miriam Vale) and a qualified physiotherapist. In 2021, I completed my certification in Clinical Pilates Matwork and Reformer. I believe Pilates is for everyone, through any stage of life, and I’ve seen firsthand the benefits it brings, especially in the rehabilitation space. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness the positive impact it has on people’s lives.

I started teaching at Pilates Tannum Sands when it first opened, and I’ve loved being part of this community ever since. In my classes, you can expect a strong focus on technique and breathing. While you’ll definitely work hard, I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment that keeps you engaged throughout the session. Some members have even affectionately called me the "smiling assassin"—take that as you will!

One of my favorite exercises is the Short Spine. It’s such a great challenge but feels so good! It helps improve spinal mobility, lengthens the spine, and strengthens the core, all while improving flexibility in the lower back and hamstrings.

A kiwi girl from NZ, myself and my little fam have been residing in Australia for four years now & loving it. Health and fitness has always been a huge passion of mine and I’m so excited to now be sharing that and helping others on their health and fitness journeys of their own.

Qualifications:
Certificate in anatomy
Level 3 Certified Pilates Matwork & Reformer Instructor.

Favourite Pilates exercise has to anything inner thighs and glutes but if I had to pick one I’d say big frogs.

I’m a high school teacher by trade, but now I’m balancing life as a mum to my beautiful boy. I’ve been a member at Pilates Tannum Sands since my son was just six weeks old. My little Pilates buddy loved coming along to the Mums and Bubs classes with me (until he started moving)! 

Now, I’m so excited to combine my two loves of teaching (without the backchat from teenagers!) and Pilates!

Favourite Exercise:

Anything feet in straps! Such a little fun treat with a nice burn!

 Meet Nicole
 

 Hi, I'm Nicole! I'm a passionate Pilates reformer instructor, mum of two, wife, and someone who finds joy in juggling family, fitness, work and self care. My Pilates journey began after my babies were born, and I've been hooked ever since. I've been a member of this studio since it opened, and transitioning from a dedicated participant to a qualified instructor has been a dream come true.  With a background in nursing and tertiary education, I understand the importance of health, wellness, and the mind-body connection. 


My favourite pilates exercises? Anything that let's me lie down-because as a busy Mum, I truly appreciate any moment if relaxation, even when I'm working hard! I'm excited to guide you through your own Pilates practice, helping you find strength and balance in both body and mind.
